Finally, A Woman Joins In

Linda Harrington has let the State Central Committee members know that she would like to be Chair of the Republican Party of Iowa.  She is also willing to do it without stipend.

I haven't been able to find out much information about Linda.  What I have found is that she was a strong force and media spokesperson for John Cox's presidential campaign in Iowa.  She travelled the State for him campaigning.

I think it would be wonderful to have a woman in charge. You hear it said all the time in Republican circles, if you want something done go to the Republican Women's group.

I am realistic and know her chances are almost nil.  However, I am happy that a woman finally did speak up!

I wonder why the PURSE ladies are not working to get a woman in the leadership role at RPI.  Surely, they can do more than just have parties and raise money for campaigns.  Isn't there anyone willing to do real work?  Huckabee should have proved to anyone capable of thinking that money will not buy, I mean win, a candidate's race.

In any event, thank you Linda for coming forth.  Best of luck.
